"Don't fall off the Elephant!"

Wesco Fabrics has hosted trips with our customers to exciting and exotic locals for many years. Marla and I have hosted trips to Phuket, an 11th century French chateau, Paris, Chiang Mai, Bali, Cannes, and Bangkok. In March we traveled with our group to Bangkok and the beautiful island of Samui. The 2009 Group
Bangkok's Royal Palace.
Russ and Bonnie with the monkies.
Jim Thompson House near the Klongs (canals) of Bangkok.
Brad and Colleen looking very tropical.
Chris gives a "wai" (Thai greeting), while thinking about how to get transferred to Thailand.
Bangkok's most sophisticated shopping center is the Siam Paragon. You can purchase everything from a Maserati to a toothbrush. This is where the young and hip Thais love to be seen on the weekend.
If you have acrophobia you might want to skip the bar in the Dome Tower's Sirocco, which is 65 stories high. I would really feel a bit more comfortable with a parachute!
Bombay Sapphire Gin shot a magazine ad at Sirocco. Check out the wrap-around glass railing.
We flew an hour south of Bangkok to the the tropical island of Samui. The Anantara Resort was the perfect setting for the second leg of our Wesco Adventure. We chartered Captain Walter's teak Bugis ketch, the "Kaisso Kaia," for a sunset sail. It is moored in the bay in front of our resort.
Dick trying out a rather lame yoga pose at the Anantara.
Marla and the ladies enjoying themselves in the Old Bophut Village.
Heading out to the "Kaisso Kaia" for our cruise.
Justin and Paula set sail.
Bonnie practices her mahout skills while Russ hangs on tight.
Paula and her new best friend.
Katrina, Josh and Dina get down to some real bargaining in the market.
Sunset in Samui. The end of another great Wesco Adventure. We will see you in Bali next May 2010!
