THE LEG

As the sign says….I’m under reconstruction. I broke my leg skiing at Keystone last week with my kids.

I’ve never broken an arm or a leg before. Simple tasks take 10 times longer. For a really active and hyper guy like me, it has been a serious learning process. My broken leg is a short-term set-back, an aggravation that I can deal with. I can’t even imagine the ordeal that persons with real issues have to deal with on a daily basis. When you are less mobile than usual, I find that I listen and observe more than before. I hope that continues. Marla, who is a supreme multi-tasker, has found herself spread pretty thin. I really appreciate her patience and assistance.

No,…that wasn’t me.

That wasn’t me either.

I would like to say that I hurt my leg doing some aerials or acrobatic skiing but I can’t. I simply fell doing a rather simple turn on an intermediate slope.

MAY YOU HAVE A HAPPY, HEALTHY, AND INSIGHTFUL NEW YEAR.
