We are adding a General Manager to lead our team and build on our strong reputation of providing the finest in wholesale decorative fabrics, custom window coverings and unique furnishings.  In this newly created role, our General Manger will help drive company profitability and lead an experienced team. The GM will work closely with company owners to develop and execute a strategy for success in a changing marketplace.

A successful General Manager will bring a track record of inspiring and developing a team for profitability and success. The ability to produce results in managing full business operations including sales, accounting and operations is a must. Establishing budgets and delivering financial performance is expected in this role. Excellent Excel skills are required.

Building sales, product selection, customer relations and profitable sales are key areas of focus.

Candidates are proven leaders with a track record of success, with a passion for life and growing a business. Management experience in design, home furnishing or related industry is helpful.

We also need a talented and friendly person for DATABASE MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT. You will work closely with the National Sales Manager and company owners. Tasks include managing our database and creating, updating, maintaining data. Creative responsibility like photographing new fabrics, creating marketing emails and postcards, and developing our catalog is expected. The candidate will have a critical and logical mind, as well a creative and aesthetically inclined eye. You will also assist in bringing new fabrics into our collection. Must be comfortable dealing with both design and data.

Necessary Skills: High proficiency with Windows 7 and 8. Very strong Microsoft Office (2007, 2010, and 2013) and especially Excel! Ability to use Mail Merge to import data from Excel into Word. You will use Adobe Creative Cloud Suite to create email blasts, postcards and update our website/social media.

You will be able to work effectively in a quick paced environment with multiple tasks. Detail and a critical eye is important. Basic programming skills, front-end web skills, basic understanding of HTML/CSS/Java script, and a cursory knowledge of SQL are helpful, but not required.
