We love to window shop and decided to take a look at the designer boutiques on Rome’s Via Condotti and Via del Babuino. Yes, we found the stores all right, but we didn’t expect to see all the people on a Wednesday afternoon in early September! Piazza di Spagna and the iconic Spanish Steps were jammed with tourists and locals alike! The 17th century Barcaccia Fountain in the middle of the square is almost invisible with all crowds!
Hotel staff in uniform and hat picks up a customer’s packages on the Via Condotti. I guess no one carries their own packages anymore!
Marla loved the colorful shoes at Baldinini.
The steps are in mesmerizing visual motion at Louis Vuitton.
Fantastic display of high-end vintage jewelry. Anyone for a nice bauble?
Laura Biagiotti creates such interesting fashion.
I glanced at the window displays of a few of my favorite menswear boutiques, like Kiton and Brioni. With suits beginning around $7000+ and jackets at $4000+ these are definitely not stores for my budget but fun to look at anyway!
