Last week I wrote about the new Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, Colorado. Almost 50% of the soon to be 54 restaurants and stores are open now. My favorite place of all is Miette et Chocolat, a simply amazing haute patisserie in the French style with high creativity. 

On our first visit Marla and I bought one fruit tart to share. Up close you can see the care and style of this delicacy. The chef included 24 karat gold leaf as well as a tiny macaroon. The delicate twist of apple added real flair. Yes, it tasted even better than it looks! I've dined at three star Michelin restaurants in France and this little tart was just as good, maybe even better than some of the desserts we've had!

Miette et Chocolat is the brainchild of chefs Gonzo Jimenez and David Lewis.

The Stanley Marketplace is a really happening place which is destined to be one the go-to fun spots in the Denver Metro area! On your next visit be sure to drop by Miette et Chocolat and walk around with a delicious smile on your face.
